Formal Evaluation:
• Complete application form and documents.
• Conforming to application conditions and project submission requirements.
• That there is no name, handwriting or sign that may reveal the identity of the
applicant or applicant team on any part of the submitted material.
Innovative Approach, Scientific Competency and Suitability
to Manufacturing:
• Innovative approach towards the selected theme.
• Clear specification of the purpose of the project.
• Sufficient research on the novelty and applicability of the idea behind the
design.
• Detailed explanation of the reasoning behind the design and the underlying
innovative idea.
• Resolving of engineering, material and production issues.
• Consistency between the purpose and the end result of the project.
• Sufficiency of the project presentation.
• Scientific acceptability of the method employed in the project report and
apprehensible results.
• Sufficiency of the project abstract and references.
Strategic Approach and Contribution to the National Economy:
It is expected that the innovative idea behind the project must justify one or more
of the following criteria.
• Technological innovation.
• Visual innovation.
• Contribution to sectoral development.
• Ease of use.
• Positive effect on the medium of use.
• Providing cost advantage.
• Protection of natural resources.
• Saving of resources.
Candidates may also be evaluated in terms of additional criteria that may be
found necessary by the Jury.
